He is survived by: his children, Claud Hanson (Jenny) of Braham, Jennifer Bohannon (Heath) of South Carolina, Richard Hanson Jr. (Nicole) of Princeton, Jeffery Hanson (Crystal Holmstrom) of Mora and Crystal Loudermilk (Ray) of Georgia; and his siblings, Adele Schafer of California and Butch Schafer (Katie) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
