Debra Marion Borden Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 73, Debra Marion Borden of Brainerd, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Debra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Debra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Messner and Verda Messner (Hagg). She is survived by: her husband Clifford; her children, Timothy (Katherine), Noel (Sarah), Jerome (Amy), David (Abby), Andrea Egan (Brent), Lisa Stokman (Nicholas) and Joshua (Hannah); and her brothers, Daniel Messner (Lois) and Darren Messner (Kristy). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (404 N 9th St, Brainerd, MN 56401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
