He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon D. Jenks and Margaret M. Jenks (Nixt); his daughter Caroline; and his nephew Robert Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Jennifer Wahl, Dan Jenks and Karen Nelson (Michael); his grandchildren, Daelynn, Caitlyn, Georgia, Frankie and Erik; and his sister Gloria Johnson. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
