It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald O'Brien (Brainerd, Minnesota), who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl O'Brien and Althea O'Brien (McIntyre). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Klein; his children, Michael (Julie) and Shawn (Karla); his grandchildren, Jade (Janice), Brittany (Nic), Justin (Austin) and Shawna (Joe); his great grandchildren, Isabella, Collin and Carter; and his sister Nancy Samuelson.

Don served on the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation Distinguished Achievement Hall of Fame Committee, The Crow Wing County Historical Society and as an election judge.
