He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Tammy Wood (Kevin) and Jody Berg (Meri); his grandchildren, Joshua Berg (Janine), Alison Fritz (Kyle), Eric Berg, Shannon Kechely (Matthew) and Katie Wood (David Diedrichs); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Patty, Gretta and Arlo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (220 N 8th St, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church building fund or the Brainerd American Legion Color Guard.
