It is with sadness that the passing of Herbert Underhill in Brainerd, Minnesota is shared. Herbert, born on October 5, 1937 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on October 23, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Underhill and Madalene Underhill (Sheldon); and his daughter Becky Underhill Swenson. He is survived by: his wife Rita Underhill; his sons, Dale Underhill (Dorothy) and Mark Underhill; his siblings, Fred Underhill (Lynn), Wally Underhill (Sharon) and Ruth Paulson (Don); and his grandchildren, Katie Johnson (Chase), Alicia Underhill, Brian Taylor (Beverly), Brian Hulke and Gary Underhill (Mara). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life Community Church (510 First Street N, Pine River, MN 56474). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
