She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Karnowski and Martha Karnowski (Copa); and her brothers, Jack, Lawrence, Joseph and David Karnowski.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Leonard; her children, Lori Leonard of Brainerd, Kari Geiser (Kyle) of New York Mills and Brian Leonard (Kristin) of Monticello; and her siblings, Janet Guin of Brainerd, Mary Hanson of The Villages, FL, Ronald Karnowski of Pequot Lakes, Charles Karnowski of Pillager and Thomas Karnowski of Eden Prairie. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Andrew's Catholic Church (1108 Willow St, Brainerd, MN 56401). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
