It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Rudbeck (Brainerd, Minnesota), who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Devere Rudbeck and Ludmilla Rudbeck (Nechanicky); his brothers, Jack and Jerry; his sister-in-law Kahren Rudbeck; his stepson Kurt Meyer; and his grandson David Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Furstenberg; his stepson Kim Meyer (Julie); his grandchildren, Angela Carlson (Donald), Adam Meyer (Heather), Hunter Meyer (Kayla) and Rustin Meyer; and his siblings, Bob, Roger, Rick, Mike and Mary. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Woodland Care Center (100 Buffalo Hills Ln W, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
