He is survived by : his wife Jill Kummer; his sons, Ryan (Rachel) and Troy (Tricia); his grandchildren, Philippa, Beckett, Josephine, Winnie and Penny; his siblings, Alan Beste (Donna), Julie Olmscheid (Peter) and Donna Thomas (Ted); his parents-in-law, Sandra and Donald Kummer; and his brother-in-law Brad Kummer.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center (512 S 8th St, Brainerd, MN 56401).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
