He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Laughton and Nuella Laughton (Gangestad); and his wife Linda Maureen Bock. He is survived by: his children, Jerald (Chris) and RaeLynn (Mike); his siblings, Arlene Hines (Harry), Rita Wick (Marty) and Duane Laughton (Nancy); and also, Leon Bock (Kularb), Michael Bock (Connie), David Bock (Sheryl), Roxanne Bock and Colleen Russell. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home (202 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
