It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Paulson Jr. of Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Phillip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Sr. Paulson and Jean Paulson (Pitchford); his wife Kathy; his stepfather Martin Dullum; and his sister Georgia Heimer.
He is survived by: his son Chad Paulson (Kathy Toensing); his grandchildren, Abigail and Wyatt Paulson; his siblings, Brad Paulson (Sue) and Janice Paulson; and his brother-in-law Fritz Bertelt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Halvorson-Taylor Funeral Home (512 S 8th St, Brainerd, MN 56401).
