Steven Lyle Kohls Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Lyle Kohls (Brainerd, Minnesota), born in Ortonville, Minnesota, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Kohls and Marcella Kohls (Anderson); his sister Nancy Berge; and his nephew Joel Berge. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Strelow Kohls; his daughter Megan Kohls; his nephew Nathan Berge; his stepsons, Bill Strelow and Aaron Strelow; and his stepgranddaughters, Kailee Beck, Cami Strelow and Ariah Strelow. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home (202 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Life Lutheran Church (6190 Fairview Rd N, Baxter, MN 56425). A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1105 3rd Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401).
