He was predeceased by: his father Dale Sickle. He is survived by: his mother Hazel Van Sickle (Smith); his children, Jill Huber (Jesse), Jennifer Van Sickle, Carrie Rakowski (Shawn), Megan Strowbridge (Brandon), Jordan Van Sickle (Jen) and Jaime Johnson (Joshua); his grandchildren, Jade, Emma, Connor, Adianna, Alexander, Sierra, Elijah, Gabriel and Harrison; his great grandchild Ares; and his siblings, David (Cindy) and Lynn (Steve).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Doran Funeral Home (202 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
