As Verna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Verna. Though Verna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Cirks and Emma Cirks (Rieter); and her daughter Vickie. She is survived by: her husband Roger Miller; and her children, Susan Skinner (Mark) and Robert Miller. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (424 S 8th St, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lutheran Church of the Cross or Samaritan's Purse.
