The family announces the passing of William G. Morcomb (Brainerd, Minnesota) on October 22, 2026. William, born on December 24, 1940 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Morcomb and Georgena Morcomb; his wife Patty Marie Carter-Morcomb; and his brothers-in-law, Burnell Rekstad and Billy Graphenteen.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Dawn), Mark (Sue), Yvonne and Michelle Pierce (Drew); his siblings, Donna Jean Rekstad, Marian Graphenteen, Judy Morcomb, Kathy Thompson (Gary), Don Morcomb (Bonnie), Sue Nelson (Rick), Roberta Grewe (Duane), Brad Morcomb (Darby) and Dale Morcomb (Sheila); and his stepchildren, Paul Carter (Bev) and LaDonna Vaughan (Chris). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren, her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church (418 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1105 3rd Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401).
