It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Duane Bitzan (Brandon, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bitzan and Josephine Bitzan (Plettl); his granddaughter Mandi Bitzan; his great grandchild Grant Mooney; and his siblings, Beatrice, Loretta and Gerald.

He is survived by : his wife Mildred Bitzan; and his children, Gregory Bitzan, Kathy Weber (John), Patricia Bitzan, Don Bitzan Jr., Jean Singerhouse (Tom), Larry Bitzan (Teresa), John Bitzan, Mary Bitzan (Dan Olson), Jerry Bitzan, Doug Bitzan (Dawn), Robert Bitzan (Dawn), Joe Bitzan and Jen Michels (Steve). He is also survived by grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
