She was predeceased by : her parents, Marjorie Johnson (Landstad) and Chester Johnson; and her siblings, Marjorie Essex, Dorothy Freeman, Roger and Charles Johnson.

She is survived by : her husband Lawrence Holden; her children, Paula Holden (Albert Smith III) of Durham, NC and Tim Holden (Eileen) of Morris Plains, NJ.; her grandchildren, Christina (Brian), Amelia Smith of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Holden (Betsy) of Morris Plains, NJ and Elizabeth Holden of Morris Plains, NJ; her great grandchildren, Mason and Logan Barth; and her friends, Cal, Victoria Hermes (Neppl), Michelle, Lisa, Cathy Abell and Jolyn Dohman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the United Methodist Church or the St. Francis Home, both in Breckenridge.
