He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Burhans and Renee Burhans (Braun); his sisters, Sandy Brogran (Jon) of Wahpeton, ND, Barbara Vanderbend of Banning, CA and Kimberly Burhans of Banning, CA; and his nephews, Jeff and Justin Stevens.
He is survived by: his close friend Cindy DeFries; his stepsons, Matthew and Brady DeFries; and his brothers, Randy Burhans (Donna) of San Dimas, CA, Bobby Burhans (Dianne) of Breckenridge, MN, Thomas Burhans of Breckenridge, MN and Patrick Burhans (Wendy) of Dwight, ND.. He is also survived by family members cousins, and friends.
