He is survived by: his wife Carlene; his children, Kevin Thimjon (Karla) of Zionsville, IN, Kari Thimjon of Maplewood, MN and Jennifer Moen (Pete) of Rogers, MN; his grandchildren, Connor Thimjon (Dominique) of Tinton Falls, NJ, Morgan Kirkland (Tyler) of Zionsville, IN, Tyler Thimjon of Chicago, IL, Erin Thimjon of Chicago, IL, Tanner Moen of Rogers, MN, Parker Moen of Rogers, MN and Addison Moen of Rogers, MN; his great grandchild Carson Kirkland of Zionsville, IN; his siblings, Joanne Dietz (Jeff) of Sun City, AZ, Robert Thimjon (Joan) of Sioux Falls, SD, Julie Costello (Tim) of Richfield, MN and Steve Thimjon (Kayla) of Goodyear, AZ; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Carivau of Desert Hot Springs, CA and John Nermoe of Ottertail, MN..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home (303 5th St N, Breckenridge, MN 56520). A prayer was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church (910 Main St, Breckenridge, MN 56520).
