He was predeceased by: his parents, Loarn McConkey and Ethel McConkey; his wife Charlene Wells; his brother LeRoy; his parents-in-law, Maryann Wells and Sidney Wells; and his brother-in-law Larry Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Hawkinson (Steve), Michael McConkey (Kelly), Kimberly Schroeder (Todd), Christine Smid (Dallas) and Susanne McKeig (Jim); and his brother-in-law Mark Wells Kenny McConkey (Cathy). He is also survived by children, grand-children, great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion (825 3rd Ave, Brewster, MN 56119). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
