We announce the death of Helen Dorothy Zehms of Brook Park, Minnesota, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Gamer and Pauline Gamer (Jabs); her husband Duane Zehms; and her siblings, Ethel Culver (Raymond), Fern Fuchs, Walter Gamer and Harold Gamer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Zehms of Brook Park, John Zehms (Therese) of Ham Lake, Elizabeth Mulvaney (Dennis) of Grasston and Mary Swanson (Dave) of Mora; and her grandchildren, Katheryne Mulvaney, Lucas Mulvaney, Blake Zehms (Aubri) and Tiffany Tangren (Alex). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Swanson Funeral Chapel (665 3rd Ave SW, Pine City, MN 55063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
