With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dale Charles Wegner of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wegner and Dorothy Wegner (Stangler); his brother Joseph Wegner; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Nemo and James Lange.
He is survived by: his wife Delores (Vavreck); his children, Ellen Rice (Dan), Greg Wegner, Mary Wollersheim (John), Mark Wegner (Debbie), Katie Freas (Jim) and Dorothy Arseneau (Greg); his sisters, Dianne Nemo, Judy Fehlen (Larry) and Joan Lange; and his sisters-in-law, Laura Wegner and June Vavreck. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo (2739 Stinson Blvd NE, St Anthony, MN 55418).
