She was predeceased by: her parents, George Whalen and Eva Whalen; her husband Ralph Leo Gagnon; her son Jed Gagnon (Katie); her grandson Anthony Finazzo-Gagnon; and her siblings, Mary, Thomas, Rose, Kieran, Anne, Leone, Grace and Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Shelby Manion (Kevin), Sharon Weekley (Brian), Elaine Gifford (Doug) and Carol McLain (John); and her nieces, Gemma and Jenny.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Brookwood (6201 Lilac Dr N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430).
