He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Opland and George Opland; his wife Phyllis Peterson Opland (Sue); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Hill and Jerome Narum.
He is survived by: his son Bradley Alan Opland (ChenChen); his grandchildren, Erik and Leif; and his sisters, Mary Hill, Cristel Gjerde (Craig) and Paula Narum.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Living Christ’s Mission Church in Brooklyn Center (7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429).
