Steven R. Skorich Obituary
We announce the death of Steven R. Skorich of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Steven will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Steven will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Steven will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Steven’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rody Skorich and Angeline Skorich (Njegovan) of Grand Rapids, MN.. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeff (Val), Mark (Linda) and Suzanne (Enrique); his niece Tonya; and his nephews, Mark, Will, Tim, Michael, Jeff and Blake. He is also survived by fifteen grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home (6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55429).
