He was predeceased by: his wife Ila Mae; his parents, George Wendt and Clarice Wendt; and his brothers, Vernon and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Steven (Sandra), Constance Forrester (Mark), Bruce (Bonnie), Tim (Tami) and Mary Kay Sampson; his grandchildren, Justin, Erin Stoffel, Stephanie Hoyhtya, Joshua, Jacob (Ashley), Nathaniel, Scott, Randall, Colleen, Logan and McKenna; and his great grandchildren, Sonora, Colten, Novalee, Hollis, Ophelia, William, Eli, Abigail, Ellie, Paisley, Jade and Isabella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
