“Chipper was my friend & I am sending sincere sympathy. Here is a fond memory from high school. While decorating the gym for the prom, his hand was cut. The hand was bandaged so at the prom banquet I helped him eat. The sherbet spoon was so cold, it stuck to his lip, not realizing this, I pulled it away too fast. Resulting in both a sore hand and a sore lip. I felt really bad about his lip, we still had a great time at the prom. He was a wonderful man and I am so sorry. Sandy Stephens Rexius”
