She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Cleveland (Diamond); and her brother James P. Cleveland (We Never Lose Those We). She is survived by: her husband Phil Samson; her children, Pete Samson (Jen), Mike Samson and Erin Lufholm (Mike); her grandsons, Austin Enyart, Tony and Henry Samson; her father Samuel Cleveland; and her siblings, John Cleveland (Kathy), Anne Ames (Tom) and Michelle Maher (Bruce). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Robbinsdale Women's Center.
