She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hezicar Sherwood and Sophia Ann Weiss; her husband Jack Paynter; and her sister Loretta Towne. She is survived by: her children, Mark Paynter (Brenda), Jeannine Scarber (Larry) and John Paynter (Tammy). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Brooklyn Park) (4700 Edinbrook Terrace, Minneapolis, MN 55443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Anoka Minnesota Stake Center (4700 Edinbrook Terrace, Minneapolis, MN 55443). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
