He was predeceased by: his parents, Rognald Benson and Emilee Benson (Jacobson). He is survived by: his family Lexie; his wife Lorraine Moen; his children, Susan Aeshliman (Tom) of Annandale and Steven Benson (Jennifer) of Ft. Myers, FL.; his granddaughters, Rachael Lesch (Tony), Amber Norquist, Alissa Norquist (Chris), Christine Benson and Brooke Bester (Roy); and his sister-in-law Helen Lovgren.
At Don's request, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, St. James Lutheran Church in Crystal, MN or Park Nicollet Hospice.
