James Paul Knuckey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul Knuckey of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Knuckey and Hilda Knuckey; and his brother Cedric. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Sue Gregerson, Tom Knuckey (Julie Ranczka), Betsy Wild (Dan) and Katie Herbes (Louis); his grandchildren, Amanda Popp (Matt), Zach Knuckey, Kim Wahl (Dan), Kirsten Rusk (Chris), Billy Gregerson and Emily Wild; his great grandchildren, Josie Popp and Ella Wahl; his brother John (Sue); and his sisters-in-law, Diane Knuckey and Eleanor Porter (Tom). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lake Superior Steelhead Association for habitat restoration or Word of Peace Lutheran Church.
