With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joan Marie Johnston of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on April 20, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Wencel; her parents, Tony Borer and Mary Borer; and her siblings, Art, Earl, Robert, Kenneth, Francis and Patricia.

She is survived by : her children, Doug, Jonathon and Mary Frances. She is also survived by her five sisters and brother-in-law; children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of St. Alphonsus (7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, North Memorial Hospice or to the family.
