He was predeceased by: his father Chester; his brother Craig; and his mother-in-law Maralyn Jones. He is survived by: his wife Marcelle; his children, Brandon (Janet), Maggie Nelson (Jamie) and Jackson (Amanda); his mother Margaret; his sister Stacy Neary (Matt); his sister-in-law Ruth Gromek; his father-in-law Duane Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Jones (Janice) and Marlene Beck (Mark). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity Lutheran Church (3312 Silver Lake Rd NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
