He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Landwehr; his brother John Terhaar (Phyllis); his children, Karen Metzler (Michael), Judy Juergensen (Jay), Cindy Terhaar and Dan Terhaar (Teresa); his grandchildren, Jayme Baker (Pat), Nic Metzler (Adrienne), Kait Taha (Shady), Alex Metzler (Lisi), Ben Terhaar (Jenny), Hannah Flanders (Matt) and Tom Terhaar; and his great grandchildren, Cassidy Asmus, Ray, Izzy, Mohy Taha, Isla, Hailee Terhaar and Penelope Metzler.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to North Memorial Hospice or, St. Therese of Oxbow Lake Pastoral Care.
