He was predeceased by : his parents, Hank and Dorothy. He is survived by : his niece Hope; his wife Kelly; his children, Lauren Geissler (Jimmy) and Ben; his granddaughter Lucy; and his siblings, Don (Rhonda), Mary (Doug), Jim (Paula) and Kevin (Nancy).

Memorials to the family will be charitably donated to several organizations at a later date.
