He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta; his parents, Jens and Minnie; his parents-in-law, Anton and Marie Reznichek; his siblings, Thelma (Lyle), Richard (Elaine), Carvel (John), Dorothy (Denny Sr), Floyd (Joanie), Delores and Mary; and his nieces and nephews, Sharon, Sue, Denny Jr. and Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Thorsen (Tom Ruhl), Lynn Thorsen Elm (Rick), Beth Thorsen and John Thorsen; his grandchildren, Lauren, Zach, Samantha, Jake, Bjorn and Noah; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Sonja and Little Rudy; his siblings-in-law, Ed Norum, John Reznichek and Janet Reznichek; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Mike, Greg, Linda, David, Barb, Tommy, Leanne, Patti, Katie, Ed Jr., Debbie S, Jeanette, Debbie T, Jenny and Dan.
