He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Berberich and Mayme Berberich (Asselin); his siblings, LeRoy, Linus, Lawrence, Carol Harbott and Alice Balstad; his siblings-in-law, Sue Berberich, Larry Pittman, Tom Miller, Gene Olson, Harold "Sonny" Balstad, Richard Dugstad, Kenny Leibl and Donald Harbott; and his friend Marlene Harbott.
He is survived by: his daughter Ami Schlichtmann (John); his grandsons, Jack Schlichtmann of Forest Lake, MN and Charlie Schlichtmann of Forest Lake, MN; and his siblings, Marge Miller, Loretta Pittman, Sue Louks (Joe) of Fosston, MN, Fritz Schmitt (Mike) of Bemidji, MN, Betty Lindy (Mark) of Bemidji, Rita Fenner (Kevin) of Bemidji, Kay Sharp, Connie Bishop (Charles) of Lake George, MN, John Berberich of Brooks, MN and Janet Koivisto (Rick) of Plummer, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
