She was predeceased by: her parents, Berlin Hoium and Ruth Hoium (Jacobson); her daughters, Lorna Wicks and Lynette Grove; and her adoptive daughter Gabrielle Mercil.
She is survived by: her children, Lynae Finseth (Sidney) of Trail, MN, Loring Mercil (Tracy) of Salem, OR and Lori Sorenson (Todd) of Fisher, MN; her sons-in-law, Mike Wick of Oklee, MN and Gary Grove of Dilworth, MN; her sibling's children, Judie Fallon and Joe Mercil (Nola); her grandchildren, Danielle Paradis (Bill) of Oklee, MN, Charity (Jason), Brendan Ellison (Talia) of Gladstone, OR, Tristan Mothershead (Alison) of Gladstone, OR, Travis Finseth (Janelle) of West Fargo, ND, Jarrod Finseth (Shelley) of Sabin, MN, Adam (Chelsey) and Aric Grove of Ray, ND; and her cousin Joyce Bronson of Blaine, MN.. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
