It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles E. Sagedahl of Brooten, Minnesota, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornell Sagedahl and Opal Sagedahl; his brothers, Kenneth and Larry; his siblings-in-law, Bea and Edwin Eskelson; and his daughter-in-law Lita Sagedahl.

He is survived by : his nephew Tim Eskelson; his niece Lesley Sagedahl; his wife Karen; his children, Steve (Judy), Scott (Lori), Sheldon, Kristi Andrew (Mark), Karl Jon (Catie), Kari Seijo, Kristine Bjorke (Scott) and Tom Knigge (Cindy); his siblings, Roger, Eileen Eskelson, Sherwood (Carol), Bobby (Yvonne), Suzanne Sagedahl and Glorianne Whitmore; and his sister-in-law Marlene Sagedahl. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Brooten (141 Pleasant Ave S, Brooten, MN 56316).

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church and Concordia College.
