He is survived by: his wife Judy Gettman of Browns Valley, MN; his son Dustin Gettman of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Bahr of Sioux Falls, SD, Greg Haggerty (Nancy) of Dell Rapids, SD, Keith Haggerty (Cindy) of Browns Valley, MN, Ike Haggerty of Aberdeen, SD and William "Bill" Barknecht (Donna) of Battle Lake, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
