With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maynard Carl Akkerman of Brownsdale, Minnesota, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maynard Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (411 W Main St, Brownsdale, MN 55918).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church in Waltham.
