He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Blahnik and Mary Blahnik (Snyder); and his siblings, Bonnie, Barb and Francis.

He is survived by: his children, Sarah Sevick (Chris), Luke Blahnik, Frank Blahnik, Adam Blahnik (Terrie), Jake Blahnik (Christine), Emily Blahnik and Annie Ellis; his grandchildren, Eli, Jack, Ayden, Maggie, Noah, Lilia, Luveah, Caia and Mikayla; his stepgrandsons, Sam King and Jakob Komperud; and his siblings, James Blahnik, Donald Blahnik (Brenda), Fred Blahnik (Carla), Mary Haggerty (Ken), Darlene Kraus (Joe), Dorothy Denison (Jerry), Caroline Greeley, Betty Pestka (Jerry) and Cathy Bly (Jack).
