She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kalkhoff and Kathryn Kalkhoff (Fangmann); her husband George Serbus; her grandson Matthew Serbus; her son-in-law Michael Palmer; her siblings, Jerry Kalkhoff (Joan), Bernard Kalkhoff (Louise), Ernie Kalkhoff (Dorothy), Bernice Senkyr (Roger) and Rita Goblirsch (Francis); her parents-in-law, Joseph and Lillian Serbus; and her siblings-in-law, Dick Serbus (Nina), Joe Serbus (Lydia), Clarence Serbus, Bernard Serbus, Lillian Haney (Wayne), Cecelia Kodet (Brainerd), Veronica Littel (Gene) and Marie Serbus.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Kiecker (Ron), Mark Serbus, Dean Serbus (Nancy), Scott Serbus (Carol), Dan Serbus (Marilyn), Ronald Serbus and Jolene Palmer; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Serbus and Audrey Serbus. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (220 S 10th St, Bird Island, MN 55310). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
