It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Walter of Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hanson and Gena Hanson (Flaata); her husband Merle Walter; her granddaughters, Jodi Walter and Dana Peterson; her brothers, Robert Hanson (Helen) and Orin Hanson (Charlene); and her son-in-law Rob Doering.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Walter of Buffalo Lake, Sandy Peterson (Keith) of Spicer, Becky Woolverton (Paul) of Hutchinson and Dale Walter (Jody) of West Salem, WI; and her great grandchildren, Jamey, Rachel Walter, Jenny, Barry Odegard, Jess, Eric Newman, Brad Hove, Kara, Reid Nelles (Boden), Kasey and Brady Myers. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center Activity Dept. and Renville County Hospice.
