Doris Walter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Walter of Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hanson and Gena Hanson (Flaata); her husband Merle Walter; her granddaughters, Jodi Walter and Dana Peterson; and her brothers, Robert Hanson (Helen) and Orin Hanson (Charlene).
She is survived by: her children, Scott Walter of Buffalo Lake, Sandy Peterson (Keith) of Spicer, Becky Woolverton (Paul) of Hutchinson and Dale Walter (Jody) of West Salem, WI; and her great grandchildren, Jamey, Rachel Walter, Jenny, Barry Odegard, Jess, Eric Newman, Brad Hove, Kara, Reid Nelles (Boden), Kasey and Brady Myers. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion United Methodist Church (306 2nd St NW, Buffalo Lake, MN 55314). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center Activity Dept. and Renville County Hospice.
