She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Kangas and Aurora Kangas (Waara); her son David; her brothers, Eli, Reuben, Vernon and Wesley; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Kangas and Henry L'Esperance.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy, Gayle, Eric (Laurie), Philip, Maria Trejo (Carlos) and Andrea; her grandchildren, Christina Nelson, Dylan Nelson (Amanda), Jordan Trejo, Quinn Trejo, Samantha Trejo and Jazmin Chase (Sam Dunne); her great grandchildren, Ezra, Gaia and Rudy; her siblings, Marilyn L'Esperance, Norma Anderson (Don), Clarice Pesonen (Jim), Lorene Kumpula (Gerald) and Ronald Kangas (Barbara); and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Kangas and Cheryl Kangas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rockford Laestadian Lutheran Church (741 Ibarra Ave NE, Buffalo, MN 55313). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
