He was predeceased by: his parents, William Posthumus and Florence Posthumus (Vork); his wife Joyce Overmeyer; his brother Warren; and his sisters-in-law, Alice and Eleanor Posthumus.
He is survived by: his sons, Dirk (Jean) and Dan (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Anna Deutsch (Matthew), Steven Posthumus, Laura Lundberg (Paul), Kelly Moline (Landon) and Kristin Posthumus (Elijah Kracht); and his brother Gerald "Dutch" Posthumus of Rochester, MN. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Buffalo United Methodist Church or First United Methodist Church in Port Isabel, TX, or to the charity of your choosing.
