He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bowman and Johanna Bowman (Ahrendt); his brother Lawrence Bowman, Jr. (Skip); his parents-in-law, Clifford and Lydia Dixon; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Bowman, Gordy Bersie and Gary Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Dixon; his children, Valerie Pederson (Mark) and Grant Bowman (Diane); his grandchildren, Charissa Gazelka (Nate), Anastasia McQueen (Joel), Luke Pederson (Gretchen), Jordan Bowman (Holly) and Michalea Gothman (Cole); his great grandchildren, Lewis, Winston and Ari Gazelka; his grandchildren, Silas, Malachi, Rhyan Pederson, Wyatt, Lydia, Lucille Bowman, Emmi, Nora, Maisy, Selah and Zion Gothman; and his sisters, Jennalee Bersie and Rosalyn Nelson.
