He was predeceased by: his parents, Donovan Peter and Elvia Etta Hayes (Cyrus); and his sister Linda Tesch. He is survived by: his brother Bradley Hayes (Beth); his wife Marie L. Hayes; his children, Bess Murray (Ryan), Peter Hayes (Chelsie) and Tim Hayes (Krista); his sibling's children, Kim Tesch, Tim Tesch (Deena), Brent Hayes (Myla), April Smith (Bryan), Avaly Scarpelli (Paul), Alana Eiland (John) and Angel Wasu (Aman); his grandchildren, Lily Warner (Austen), Rosie DeMarais, Darren Hayes, Mason Hayes, Eva Murray, Christian Murray, Jada Hayes, Grayson Murray, Brynna Murray and Trey Hayes; and his great grandchild Violet.
