He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Hanson and Phyllis Hanson (Enders); his wife Judy Hanson; his brother-in-law Gary Kobberdahl; and his great grandchild Angelina Kesti.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hanson (Jay Nelson) of Brainerd, Jeffrey Hanson (Karen) of Greenfield and Bradley Hanson (Kate Johnson) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Cole Hanson Nelson, Jessica Kesti (Loren), Megan Hanson, Erika Landa (Timothy), Allison Savela (Paul), Amber Hanson (Max Kelzer), Jenna Forstie (Alexander), Derek Hanson (Greta), Garrett Hanson, Claire Hanson, Connor Hanson, Adelyn Hanson, Henry Hanson and Molly Hanson; his siblings, Paul Hanson (Mary) and Mary Kobberdahl; Mary. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Dave moved in with family during COVID and eventually was able to move to Parkview where the staff spoiled their "David".
