With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis B. Thingvold of Buffalo, Minnesota, born in Rockford, Minnesota, who passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thingvold and Selma "Sally" Thingvold (Ishaug); his caregiver Mary; his wife Mary Thingvold; and his siblings, John Wallace "Wally" Thingvold (Lois), Frances Hansen (Reider), Lyle Thingvold (Shirley) and Richard "Dickie" Thingvold.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Thingvold (Jenny Lloyd), Lisa Root (Amos) and Jason Thingvold; his grandchildren, Gavin Pfeffer, Brienn Thingvold, Emily Root and Evan Root; and his siblings, Shirley Jacobs, Daryle Thingvold (Suzette) and Doug Thingvold (Carole). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
